My early-stage prostate cancer was discovered in 1989, about the time I was reading Gary Null’s book Healing Your Body Naturally. This book told me about Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski and his new nontoxic approach to treating cancer. My idea was to get ahead of this cancer early, so off I went from New York to Houston, Texas. That turned out to be a great decision.

I found Dr. Burzynski to be a very focused, straightforward individual. No hype, no promises. The first thing he said was that the procedure was experimental, and there was limited experience with the therapy. That was in 1989. Since then, I have talked to many who say they owe their lives to this doctor with the heavy accent. I say "lucky me" to have found my cancer early, to have read Gary Null’s book, and to have made the right decision.

Going to Houston took a leap of faith, but it felt right. Before my diagnosis of cancer, I had already started to make major changes in my eating habits and was learning about vitamins and supplements. Dr. Burzynski told me there would be no conflict with his antineoplaston therapy. To this day, I have continued to eat in a healthy way.

Today, 9 years later, my PSA count is normal, and I feel well. It is reassuring for me to know that Dr. Burzynski is continuing his rigorous program of clinical trials in Houston.

If I can give you some encouragement or answer your questions, feel free to contact the Burzynski Clinic to obtain my phone number. I'd be happy to speak with you.
