Reasons to donate:

Help Raise Awareness:  Although Dr. Burzynski discovered a non-toxic treatment for cancer in 1967, many people around the world are still unaware of this medical break thorough.  We are working diligently to raise public awareness by advertising in such mediums as newspapers, direct mail, billboards, television, radio, and of course the Internet.

Medical Expenses:  Dr. Burzynski’s Antineoplaston therapy is a subject of FDA supervised clinical trials.  Currently, only patients eligible to enroll into a clinical trial may receive such treatment. There is no government funding, and no pharmaceutical sponsors for Dr. Burzynski’s clinical trials of which $150,000,000 is needed to pay for FDA-authorized Phase III trials.  As a result, the Burzynski Clinic are doing their research independently, have to fund their own research, and manufacture their own medications.  Unfortunately, that means that all of Dr. Burzynski’s patients have to pay for the cost of treatment. Although Dr. Burzynski has been treating various cancer cases for some decades now, his therapies are still considered experimental.  So this is a major factor for some of the insurance companies along with what medications are used and the dosages for these medications.  In addition, Medicare and Medicaid will not pay for anything done at the clinic because the Burzynski Clinic is not on their list.  Even if they were on their list of doctors, they would not pay for it because they do not recognize the therapies as a traditional form of treatment for cancer. We are focused on raising money to administer funds for medical expenses of patients not covered by insurance.
